With the advancement of the lighting industry, the role of lighting has been redefined, transforming into a crucial element for enhancing life and creating a high-quality environment. As a sourcing platform covering the entire supply chain, the Smart Lighting Expo showcases a broad range of products and solutions, including smart lighting technologies, human-centered lighting, sustainable lighting solutions, and advanced digital signage solutions. Given the increasing demand for smart display solutions and entertainment lighting driven by major global events, this year's expo features a new "Smart Commercial Display & Stage Lighting Zone," bringing together renowned brands and industry leaders. Among them, industry leaders such as Absen, whose products have been used in the NBA, Times Square in New York, and the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, will showcase their latest products.

The concurrently held Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Spring Edition) will continue to provide a one-stop trading platform. The "Green Innovation Zone" will return, showcasing green building and green lighting products, including solar panels, electromechanical engineering, energy-saving lighting systems, and safety and security technologies. The newly established "Leisure Lighting Zone" and "Outdoor Lighting Zone" will feature products specifically tailored for leisure and outdoor applications. The highlight zone, "Gallery of Lighting Masters," brings together renowned brands showcasing innovative lighting products and technologies. Other product zones include commercial lighting, decorative lighting, home lighting, professional lighting, and lighting accessories.

Furthermore, this year's highlight—the "Light and Light Research Institute"—will debut in Hall 3, creating a dedicated themed exhibition area that immerses visitors in the future world of smart lighting. The area will present a variety of interactive lighting products integrating cutting-edge technology in a scenario-based design, showcasing their practical applications. The three themed scenes each have their own unique characteristics:

**Garden of Light:** Showcasing garden lights, smart light poles, and solar-powered lighting fixtures, creating an atmosphere of sustainable outdoor lighting. A highlight is the Sansi Lighting pot-clip plant light, employing independent ceramic technology. Its heat dissipation efficiency is far superior to traditional metal structures, effectively reducing LED temperature, minimizing light decay, and improving stability and safety. The ceramic material is highly corrosion-resistant, extending the lamp's lifespan to 25,000 hours. Combining precise spectrum and a professional optical system, it boasts high luminous efficacy, low energy consumption, and uniform illumination, precisely meeting the needs of plants at each growth stage. Its overall performance surpasses that of ordinary plant lights.

**Hall of Light:** Focusing on high-end museum lighting, the hall showcases modular track lights and spotlights, highlighting the fusion of precise light control and aesthetics. A highlight is the Little Hill Downlight Starry Series, which achieves a breakthrough in luminous efficacy through Sansi's self-developed ceramic core technology. Its brightness is 1.5 times higher than ordinary downlights, and it can create a small hill-like wall-washing light pattern. The frameless and narrow-bezel designs seamlessly integrate into home and exhibition aesthetics. Concealed light sources combined with a 65° shading angle significantly reduce glare, delivering a comfortable and non-glaring viewing experience. Professional technology redefines the quality of home and exhibition lighting.

The "Light of Competition" showcases high-performance stadium lights, high-ceiling lights, and wall washers, demonstrating professional-grade lighting performance. A highlight is Foshan Lighting's F-series stadium lights, crafted entirely from forged aluminum, which are 20%-45% lighter than traditional lights at the same illuminance, significantly reducing transportation costs and installation effort. Combined with high thermal conductivity 1060 pure aluminum, it effectively lowers the operating temperature of the LED chips, extending the lifespan to 100,000 hours and significantly reducing maintenance frequency. Installation is simple and quick, requiring no complicated on-site adjustments, significantly shortening the delivery cycle of sports lighting projects.

Many exhibits embody ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles, some award-winning designs applied to large-scale landmark projects, fully demonstrating the trend of lighting innovation that combines sustainable development, smart technology, and human-centered needs.

In addition to product showcases, the two lighting exhibitions will host multiple professional forums, allowing industry professionals to share the latest trends and developments in the lighting industry, providing a valuable platform for knowledge exchange and networking. The "Asia Lighting Conference" will be held from April 20th to 21st, assisting the lighting industry in adapting to the latest sustainability standards and market trends in landscape and outdoor lighting, and showcasing immersive entertainment lighting projects by award-winning designers. The "Smart Lighting Solutions Forum" will be held on April 21st, where industry experts will share technological advancements in human-centered lighting and application cases of smart LED solutions.

Providing a Seamless Sourcing Experience for Buyers

The two lighting exhibitions will adopt an "EXHIBITION+" online and offline integrated model, coupled with the "Business Matching" smart matching platform operating from April 13th to 30th, providing a comprehensive business negotiation platform for global merchants. In addition, the exhibitions will offer "Scan2Match," allowing buyers to seamlessly connect offline and online, continuing business interactions. Buyers can use the "Scan & Go" function on the HKTDC Marketplace App during the physical exhibition to scan exhibitors' exclusive QR codes, save their favorite exhibitors, browse product information and exhibition activity maps, and conduct online discussions with exhibitors during or after the physical exhibition to continue their sourcing journey.

In addition, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council actively encourages and assists exhibitors and buyers from around the world to participate in the exhibition through various channels, including finding airfare and accommodation deals for them. Five airlines offer airfare discounts to overseas buyers and exhibitors; in addition, more than 40 hotels offer room booking discounts to trade buyers. In 2025, the two lighting exhibitions attracted approximately 15,000 buyers from 108 countries and regions, fully demonstrating the international level of the exhibitions.
