Thinklight will land in the Middle East again in mid-January, leading the new trend of lighting and smart buildings
Thinklight will shine again in the Middle East from January 14th to 16th, and work with elites in the lighting and smart building industries to explore the transformative power of light and enhance the art and science of lighting design and technology. This event brings together more than 30 top speakers from around the world, providing a rare communication and learning platform for designers, architects, lighting consultants, engineers and project managers in the lighting industry.
This three-day conference will become a brilliant stage for regional and even international lighting professionals to share experiences and collide ideas. Participants will have the opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of the latest trends in lighting design, explore cutting-edge technologies in smart buildings, and jointly promote innovation and development in the lighting industry.
The theme of Thinklight in 2025 will focus on "Building Commonality through Culture, Creativity and Community", and explore in depth how to use these elements to stimulate innovation in the field of lighting and design. The conference will inspire participants through exciting keynote speeches, panel discussions and open dialogues, broaden their horizons, and help the lighting industry reach new heights.
On the opening day, dpa Lighting Consultants partners Lee Sweetman and Nikos Moskofidis will take the theme of "The Evolution of Lighting Design in the Middle East" to lead everyone to review the changes and development of lighting design in the Middle East over the past 25 years. Immediately afterwards, a panel discussion hosted by Martin Lupton, co-founder of Light Collective UK, will focus on "Saudi Arabia as a Global Lighting Innovation Center" to explore Saudi Arabia's breakthrough progress and future potential in the field of lighting.
In addition, the conference will also cover a number of hot topics, such as "The role of immersive design and light art in community building", "Light as a medium to promote urban cohesion" and "Lighting design of iconic buildings". It is worth mentioning that this year's Middle East Lighting + Smart Building Exhibition will usher in the 18th grand ceremony. Held together with Intersec, the exhibition has become the largest event in the building services industry in the Middle East and North Africa.
